Travel Vaccinations

 

We strongly recommend that you seek professional advice regarding any vaccinations required for your holiday. A Travel Health Assessment is provided by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. You must ensure that you have your vaccinations in good time for your travel in order for them to take effect. A charge for a Travel Health Assessment will be made at £50 per person;

Some vaccines may be provided free of charge from your own GP practice such as:

  • Diphtheria, polio and tetanus (combined vaccine);
  • Hepatitis A;
  • Typhoid;

In addition to the assessment fee, and dependent on your requirements, the following charges may apply:

Antimalarial medication

 

See Malaria - Fit for Travel. Avoidance of bites is extremely important. Antimalarial treatment type depends on you travel location. Antimalarial preventative treatment is not funded by the NHS and costs outlined below:
